WE'RE HERE!!!!!!!! The trip so far...
7th March
After a VERY long flight, we arrive at Heathrow, tired but funtioning. Just. Got the tube into London city and went on a open-top bus tour, which was really great. Saw Tower of London, Big Ben, Westminster, the Palace, Trafalgar Square, and other English things, like fat people with bad teeth. Spent the night at Gatwick Airport, which is not as fun as it sounds, Natalie.
8th March
Well, that sucked. Spent the night on a bench, got 3 hours sleep. Arrived in Rome, went to our hotel and threw the bags in, then did a bit of exploring for a coupla hours. Saw the Colosseum, Forum and other assorted old dealies. Very excitingly, had pizza and beer for dinner - you can totally buy 1/2 litre bottles of Heineken for €3.50!! EVERYWHERE!!! Snack bars, pizza bars, train stations, you name it, you can get it there. Awesome.
9th March
Well, caught up on our sleep! 14 hours straight, and neither of us moved the whole time. It was fantastic. Finally got up, went on a bus tour of Rome, hopped off at Vatican City and checked out St Peters Basilica. It was amazing, and we saw the Pope, and he totally waved at us. Headed to the Pantheon and on to the Trevi Fountain, and had great gelati on the way. End of the day, we went to Circus Maximus where the original chariot races took place in Roman times.
10th March
Today it rained, a lot. And it was cold. We walked in this rain and cold for an hour before we reached the line for the Vatican museums, where we had to wait another 2 hours. Spent 2 hours there, checking out the many riches of the Vatican, and they wouldn't let us have any. Sistine Chapel was amazing. We then did a lot of walking around for the afternoon, laughing at the dodgy salesmen packing their sunnies and fake Prada handbags and running away every time a policeman strolled by. Very funny. Also, Italians totally can't park. Really.
So now we're sitting in a laundromat, tired, hungry and cold, and loving every second of our trip so far!! Missing you all! xx (except Dad and Piggy, cause xx would be gay.)

Artem Every year I buy a new Passover cookbook to add vairtey to the Seders. This is the Best One Yet! The commentaries are delightful to read and the recipes I am cooking today smell wonderful. Because you know who submitted each recipe, there is a sense of family unlike most cookbooks.I can't wait to serve my family! This has become my favorite Passover collection!
