We arrived back in Rotorua hungover and tired. Luckily so was everyone else we were meeting up with so we ended up having a nap before grabbing some food. That evening we had a Mauri experience booked so come 6pm we made our way to the pick up point and boarded the bus to the Mauri village. It was a great evening, if not a little pricey. We were given a traditional Mauri welcome - very intimidating and aggressive. We were then shown around a typical Mauri village with many villagers acting out and explaining daily rituals and activities and were fed a huge feast cooked in traditional earth ovens. Oh and not to mention shown the infamous Haka by the tribesmen. At about 9:30pm we were taken back to our hostel where we managed to squeeze in one last game of DILDO before the pool closed. Then just chilled in the room watching films on our laptop before crashing out ready to catch our last Kiwi Experience bus to Auckland the following morning.
