Hi everyone! I know this is a bit early to start my travel blog but thought I had better set it up now rather than later as I can see myself leaving it until the last minute, as the only thing I have prepared so far is my injections, so its not looking promising!
Oh, I also have got some flight socks, thought its best not to get DVT before I even get there - as no doubt I will run into some type of incident or another when I am there!

Hi All! This is my last blog entry, it doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago I started posting my blogs. Anyway, at the moment we are in Bangkok and have one more day ahead of us.
Since my last entry we have been very busy. We flew to Phuket with out any problems and arrived in Patong, Phuket late Sunday afternoon. We rested a bit at the guesthouse and then headed out to have some tea. Well, all I can say is that Patong is certainly an experience - one maybe that I dont wish to do again in a hurry but glad that I have seen the sights. From the moment we left out guesthouse we were accosted by taxis, tuk tuks, restaurant owners and people offering 'ping pong' shows - (I won't explain what they are on here - I will reveal all in due course - if those of you who know what one is - we didn't go to one!) Patong is the busiest resort on the island and was packed with people - even though it is low season. It is low season at the moment as it is monsoon season. We stayed in Patong a few days, we had one day relaxing by the beach and the other day we went on a boat trip around some islands. The weather for the boat trip wasn't brillant but we still had a good day. We went and saw the island which is in a James Bond film (I have to say that I don't know which film) and we also had a guide who kayaked us around some caves.
