So...
nobody warned me about booze curises!!
It started with lunch and drinks at NahNahBar, the affiliate bar to the Rising Cock, the big hostel here in Lagos. I wrnt along with Anna, a girl I took the bus with from Lisbon. It was 40 euros for lunch, dinner, all you can drink, a day on a boat and watersports! It was awesome...I had a go at the banana boat and the couch, which were dragged along by a speedboat and we got capszed twice! On the couch I was holding on for dear life, my hands still hurt from gripping so tightly! But it was so much fun! When the speedboat turned, the banana boat/couch would feel the hit the wave created and go flying...it was scary because I felt like I was going to fall off the whole time, lots of exhiliration :) After those rides I spent the day sitting in the sun with Sangria, chatting to different people. Only in the last half an hour did I start to feel sick... vommed like 5 times on the trip back... and when we got off, I had to lie down...they tried to feed me and I told them I couldnt...so vommed again on the pier, in front of everyone! At the time I was so out of it I didnt care but looking back I know I muatve been a spectacle. Haha Me and this other guy had to be taken home in a car while everyone else walked back to the hostel. All in all, a great day!
After a 5 hour nap, I woke up at 11pm and the went out for a couple of (non-alcoholic) drinks with the girls, and yes, because Lagos is quite small, I got reffered to at the sick girl from the Booze Cruise...twice. At least I wont be forgotten in a while! Im typing this as I wait for the sleeping beauties to rise and our plans for the day are to check out the cliff beaches. Ari (girl from Lisbon) should be meeting us at around noon, itll be good to see her!
So yes, first embarrassing story of the trip. Im sure, faithful readers, there will be many many more.
