Can't believe this day has come.... we are waiting to leave New York City to catch our final flight - back to London!!!!! And what a perfect way to have finished our 7 months, in New York celebrating New Years Eve, with Shirley and Paul. The last 6 days here have been absolutly brilliant, we've seen all the sights, had snow (Graham's wish!) and best of all Katie had a emotional reunion with her Mum and Dad. Seeing in 2010 in Times Square is a moment we will never forget, the atmosphere was amazing, we partied with the hundreds of thousands of people, watched Jennifer Lopez on stage and had the time of our lives - New Years Eve will never be the same again! On New Years Day, we walked round a snowy central park and at midnight we were up the Empire State building! We've also shopped on 5th Avenue, been to see the Rockettes at Radio City Hall, felt very festive with all the gorgeous christmas decorations (bit of a contrast to our Fiji xmas!) and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city that never sleeps. Thank you Mum and Dad for being here with us to share it and treating us to all the Starbucks and big American burgers & steaks - the perfect excuse to keep out the cold!! It really wouldn't of been the same without you xx :-)

So after all the adventures and experiences we've had since leaving on June 2nd, we think its about time we came home and stopped living…
