Good Morning Vietnam! Wasn't a bad journey here from Cambodia - about 6 hrs. Ho Chi Minh City is crazy, hundreds of bikes and scooters on the roads- total chaos. The noise of the horns and traffic is unreal and trying to get across the road in one piece is a challenge in itself! Nice city though, modern and lots of good bars and restuarants, the best thing is we are millionaires here - changed up some USD and got back 1.5million Vietnemese dong! Was sad saying goodbye to our tour group and abit stange just being the two of us again but getting used to the lie-ins and lazy schedule! Visited the Cu Chi tunnels today, which we're dug out for use in the war. Miles long, very dark and narrow but with kitchens, fresh water and sleeping areas all underground, at least we know a cosy place to sleep if the budget gets short! Leaving the city 2morrow to head to the coast and work on the tan :-)
