I got the greyhound to Canberra on the 5th. It took 3 hours. I had booked an all girl dorm which i thought may be cool but once i got to the YHA in bristol i decded wasnt. there were only 2 girls in my room already but my god they were messy! A girl walked in afetr me from germany called Lara. I went out to explore and ended up in a pub after a couple of schooners i went to an irish bar and met a dutch guy called Jan. He had travelled down from cairns and told me many great places that i hope to go in the future weeks. People wared me not to go to Canberra. but it was ok. i think that 3 days was enoguh tho. i went to both parliament houses and to the botanical gardns where i saw a massive lizard. and one day i spent at the zoo. ace! oh and i went to the war museum. which was really interesting but after al the museums of sydney my brain couldnt take much more info in!! the transport was all easy to find but things were quite far away from each other so to get to them you couldnt walk round them all. which was a pain cos the weather was cracking! the town was small and to be fair theres not alot to be done but drink in the evenings..... oh well!! next up melbourne
