Guten tag!
Just been to the legendary Oktoberfest which was bloody fantastic!!!! The beer halls were brilliant, everyone was dressed up and actually, lederhosen can be quite sexy believe it or not!
The beer was flowing, songs were sung, there was dancing and jumping on tables and everyone had a great time. There was no trouble whatsoever. Everyone was friendly and polite and didnt mind translating German for us, in fact they were happy that we were celebrating their festival with them.

Overall Munich was so clean, tidy and efficient and the people were nice and didnt mind that I didnt speak German. So unlike the obnoxious Italians (but that is another blog entry..).
I will definitely come back to Germany - ok Oktoberfest is always going to be full of good spirited people, but my impressions have changed for the better and I think the people are great.
