Rockhampton!! Wot a place afer our adventures in mackay we decided a trip to the "BEEF CAPITAL" of australia as it likes to be known would be even more of a laugh, we managed to get a double room at a really freaky old hostel near the fitzroy river, it was really nice and had some dotty old woman running it who was really friendly, all was good until it came to night time and our cosy old hostel just came alive, the walls were shaking everytime someone switched a tap on there was some really weird creaking noises in the middle of the night and rumbling the place was alive? Erin at this current moment in time is reading "the shining" so she was absolutely bricking it at night time because it was exactly the same as the haunted hotel in that! Rockhampton was bigger and a bit livelier than mackay, there still wasnt much to do tho apart from walk down the river in the day, where apparently a 12m crocodile has been spotted before? The second night we were quite bored so we went to see the new indiana jones film to take up some of the night it was class, we love a bit of indie! anyway we have had our fill of this place on to 1770!
