Hello from New Zealand!
I have now been in Queenstown in the south island of New Zealand for a week and a half now. I had a very long plane journey from London Heathrow Airport to Hong Kong (which was 12 hours) then from Hong Kong to Auckland, New Zealand (which was 10 hours) and then Auckland to Queenstown (which was 1 and a half hours!)
It is springtime here so it is quite cold but also sunny with a clear blue sky. The picture above is similar to the view out of my window! Queenstown is a small town built around the Lake Wakatipu - it is 80 miles long! There is lots of snow on the mountains here and I have been up to the mountain to try and learn to snowboard. It is very tricky and i ended up falling over lots and lots. Its great fun though!

I also went on a trip at the weekend to Franz Joseph Glacier. ( which is a huge amount of solid snow that flows down from the mountain top over thousands of years) My friends and I got a helicoptor to near the top and then with our guide went for a hike around the ice wearing special shoes with metals spikes called crampons. It was extremely beautiful and great fun climbing inside ice caves. I will put some photographs on here soon!
Thank you for your messages, I hope you are all having a good time in Year 4.
