Hello everyone!
I have now been in Queenstown for just over a month now and life here is great. I have been on a trip to a beautiful national park called doubtful sound where I stayed on a boat overnight. Doubtful sound is an area that used to be a glacier that has now melted so is now lots of channels of water. As we cruised around the waters I saw lots of dolphins who were showing off jumping out of the water, and seals sunbathing on the rocks. I went canoeing and also jumped off the boat into the freezing cold water! The scenery here was beautiful with misty mounatains surrounding us. Where I live now in Queenstown and around this area they filmed al of the Lord of the Rings films.
Interested in a holiday in New Zealand?
Have a look at the great deals on offer now!
I have now got a job in a sports shop which sells lots of rugby clothes - especially the All Blacks, (The New Zealand Rugby team that do the haka!) and I even met one of the players! I have been going on lots of walks, rock climbing, eating and drinking! I may pluck up the courage to do a bungee jump soon! I have made lots of new friends here and am living in a beautiful house at the top of a hill overlooking the huge Waikatipu lake. It is springtime here now so hopefully I will start to get a suntan soon!!!
Hope you are all still having fun in Year 4 and I will update you all again soon
