Been a long day of traveling in the bus today. Miles and miles of countryside, lots of cows and sheep (Although not as many sheep as I was expecting to see in New Zealand. I have actually seen more cows.... Strange?!) has been passed. Started out at 9am from Hamner Springs which was great - thermal hot pool spa - really good. Stopped off along the way to take pictures in various national parks then had the chance of an optional activity of spending the afternoon swimming with wild dolphins which was amazing, seeing them so close.

In Christchurch at the mo - the south islands largest city. Not been able to see as much of it as I would have liked though as we didn't get here until 8pm. Went for a very tasty Thai meal though!

Another long day in the bus tomorrow heading off at 7.30am to Franz Josef Glacier and the chance to hike. - I have chosen to do the optional extra of the Heli Hike which includes an helicopter ride around the three Glaciers, a drop off on Franz Josef and then the hike. Also, I have my name down to Sky Dive Fox Glacier..... Should be an experience!
