Hello from Crayfish Meal (also known as Kaikoura)! The sun is shining, the sky is blue, I've broken out of Jail, and it's just as well I wasn't planning on doing any activities here (lack of funds) as it's windy as anything and they've all been cancelled.

Massive thanks to everyone at Jailhouse for the last three and a half months, They've been a little crazy at times, and not always all that happy (hey, remember the time I got food poisoning and was a very sick Rachel anyone?), but I could not have asked for better people to have spent the time with. Well, except for that one person whose name shall not be mentioned, but let's just say it was just as well he left when he did because he wasn't very nice. I'm going to miss you all (as Tanya will know because I nearly cried all over her this morning when I got on the bus), but I will be returning at Christmas.

So onwards to the next part of my adventure. I'm spending the night here in Kaikoura, and then tomorrow I'm off to Picton and then Wellington, which I'm hoping will prove to be the land of opportunity and riches, but I'll have to keep you updated on that.
