hi everyone!

we are in singapore and loving it! great to be in a busy city after spending so long in thailand. singapore has never been on my list of places i want to visit - it should have been! such a great place so glad we came here! its clean, efficient, the people are so friendly and helpful, and theres so much to do! museums, shops, beaches, temples / churches / mosques!

thailand was fun but theres only so many days i can spend on a beach!! we went to beach & jungle parties, stayed in remote villages, snorkelled, visited james bond island & maya bay (where leo filmed the beach!). we gained some insight into what its like to have no money - budget went a little wrong and ended up eating jam sandwiches for lunch & dinner! the people werent as friendly as i had expected, they were willing to do anything for money and changed as soon as we had paid them. it was great to see their love for the king / royal family, though they couldnt really talk about them much.

its been great to see xmas decorations here in singapore but it still doesnt feel like xmas is around the corner. have booked somewhere nice (we hope!!) to stay during xmas in bali.

havent been able to put any pics up - pc keeps crashing - but will try again in bali!
