hey everyone!

thanks for all the messages, its great to hear from you all, keep them coming!

we have just returned from a hill trek in northern thailand which was more physically challenging than i was expecting! we opted for the 3 days 2 nights trip which took us to some amazing waterfalls and lovely villages. along the way we rode an elephant and went bamboo rafting. our elephant was having a bad day and we are thankful to even be alive! he was tied to the elephant in front but kept breaking free and going off on his own little route through numerous bushes! the experience was so scary it was probably on par with crossing the road in beijing!!

the trip was fun overall and we met some interesting people on it! we are heading down to south thailand for some much needed relaxation and days of nothingness! we both loved our first camping experience and would def do it again.

have heard that it might be raining down south so i might be writing again sooner than expected!
